We hope you had a great finish to your fall quarter. Now that we’ve all had some time to recover from finals, we wanted to give you an update on what’s going on in the world of Bricolage.
Submissions to the magazine are due on February 25th. All information about submissions can be found on the Submissions page. Hopefully winter break will help unleash your creativity and result in some awesome pieces of art, poetry, and short fiction!
If you are interested in being a reviewer for the submissions in any of the categories, you have until Monday January 7th, 2013 to let us know. Please email email@example.com with your name and which category you would like to review.
Finally, Bricolage will be hosting an Open Mic Night in January! The exact date is still to be determined, we will let you know as soon as we get the date fixed. Anyone can participate too! Feel free to get up and preform poems, short stories, or music. Please limit sets to ten minutes per person. Work can be original or covered (if you are covering another artist’s work, please be sure to acknowledge them during your set). If you would like to participate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your own name, the names of the pieces you will be performing, and approximately how long your set will take. Please note that set lengths may be subject to change. Hope to see lots of you in January!
That’s all for now. Check back soon for more updates.
